☆ サラ・ブライトマン Sarah Brightman - Fleurs Du Mal

私が、世界で一番好きな歌手である。美人であることは、言うまでもないことだが、彼女の歌いっぷりは、なんと言う厳かで気品に満ち溢れ、おしゃれで、ある時は、母のように優しい声で歌い、ある時は、まるで神のような力強さを覗かせる。
彼女は、ただ歌手のみならず、プロダンサーでもある。「天二物を与えず。」という諺があるが、天は、彼女にこんなにも沢山の御褒美を与えたもうたか。正に天与のものだが、その底には、彼女の並々ならぬ努力で数々の苦難を乗り越えてきた所以であろう。
私が、台湾に住んでいた２００５年ごろに、サラ・ブライトマンのリサイタルに行ったことがある。このころから、ファンである私に、さらに拍車がかかった。
これからも、時々、すばらしい歌声を一緒に楽しみましょう。

Sarah Brightman is the most favorite singer for me in the world.

Needless to say, but she is very beautiful, also sore and filled with stately elegance and stylish.  Sometimes, singing in a gentle voice like Mother, sometimes with the strength of God.

She is not only just a singer, is also a professional dancer and she has many other talents.

In Japan, there is a saying “God does not bless a person twice”. However, how God blessed her many times? 

 I believe this is not just gifts from the God, but these gifts were achieved by her own extraordinary efforts after overcoming the hardships in her life.

When I lived in Taiwan (the year of 2005), I have been to the Recital of Sarah Brightman. 

 I have been a fan of her, but since then, spurred further.

Let’s enjoy with her beautiful voice sometimes.

☆ なら瑠璃絵 Nara Rurie Festival

私が住む古都奈良には、毎月色んな行事が開催され、我々の目を楽しませてくれる。2月8日から14日まで「しあわせ回廊　なら瑠璃絵」が開催され、約１０万個の発光ダイオード（ＬＥＤ）で春日大社、東大寺、興福寺の3社寺を光の回廊でつないでいる。

Many events are held monthly in Nara as an old capital, pleasing our eyes. The event of  “Happy Corridor – Nara Rurie” are held until Feb.14 from Feb.8, connected by a Corridor of lights by approx.100,000pcs of LED(the Light-Emitting Diode)　from Kasuga Shrine, Todaiji Temple and Kofukuji Temple.

公園一帯は、電飾オブジェで照らされ、誠に幻想的な空間を創り出した。2010年から始まったこのイベントは、今年で３回目となり、昨年は、約37万人が訪れ、冬の恒例イベントとして定着し人気を集めている。

In Nara Park Area, the objects are beautifully illuminated by lamps and creating a fantastic space indeed. This event began in 2010, and the third time this year. Last year, approx. 370,000 people have visited and has established itself as a popular annual event of the winter.

因みに、瑠璃はラピス‐ラズリ【lapis lazuli】 のことで、「ラピス」とはラテン語で石のこと。「ラズリ」は、ペルシャ語で青の意で、藍青色を呈している。主産地は、アフガニスタン。

Incidentally, “Ruri” in Japanese means Lapis Lazuli.  “Lapis” means Stone in Latin and “Lazuli” means blue in Persian, indigo blue exhibited. The main production area is Afghanistan.

まさに、「しあわせ回廊　なら瑠璃絵」で瑠璃色に輝くLEDは、幻想的で美しく訪れる人々の心を和ませてくれる。

Exactly, LED color shining in fantastic and beautiful with Lapis Lazuli color in the picture of “Happy Corridor – Nara Rurie” bring a smile to someone’s face and hearts of people.

☆ 神戸南京町 Kobe – Nankingmachi Town (Nanjing Town)

神戸南京町は、横浜中華街、長崎新地中華街とともに日本三大チャイナタウンの一つに数えられ、東西約200m、南北110mの範囲に100あまりの店舗が軒を連ねる。店頭の路上で、点心、スイーツ、食材、記念品などを売る店も多く、休日は地元の買い物客や観光客で賑わう。

Nankingmachi in Kobe is the one of the three major Chinatown in Japan as well as Yokohama and Nagasaki Shinchi .  There are many shops more than 100 in Nankingmachi Chinatown in the range of about 200m east-west and 110m in North-South.   Many shops are selling dim sum, sweets, foods and souvenir shop on the streets. It is crowded with tourists and local shoppers in holidays.

「南京町」という用語はかつて中国人街を指す一般名称であった。しかし、そのほとんどは戦後に改称したため、現在では事実上神戸のこの地区のみを指す固有名詞となっている。



The term “Nankingmachi(Nanjing Town)” was a common name, which refers to the Chinese city once. However, because most of them were renamed after the World War II, and now has become a proper noun refers only to this district of Kobe virtually.

日本三大チャイナタウンの内、横浜中華街に行ったことがあるが、神戸南京町の小規模な中華街とは違い、高級レストランを筆頭に、その他高級お土産店などが立ち並び、一日たっぷり時間を費やせる。しかし、この神戸南京町では、軽い気持ちで、中華ラーメンやどんぶりなどを、安価で楽しめるのがメリットである。

I have been to Yokohama Chinatown 4 years ago and found there are deluxe Chinese restaurants, good souvenir shops and many interesting spots . You can enjoy full day spending there.  However, you can also enjoy having tasty Chinese Noodles and foods by the reasonable prices even in small Chinatown in Kobe.

現在、在住の華僑の人々は横浜華僑6000人に対して神戸華僑はその倍近い1万人を超えているといわれる。しかし、横浜中華街と比べると神戸南京町は規模が随分と小ぶりである。実際に生活の場でもある横浜中華街と違い、神戸の南京町には居住者は少なく、ほぼ純然たる商業地となっているためである。

It is said that the Huaqiao (Overseas Chinese) living in Kobe is more than 10,000 people, nearly double compared with 6,000 people of Huaqiao in Yokohama.

However, Kobe Nankingmachi scale is fairly small size compared with Yokohama Chinatown.

This is because unlike the Yokohama Chinatown is also a place to live, but residents in Kobe Nankingmachi are actually less, which has become a nearly pure commercial place.
