JR奈良駅の前にある奈良市総合観光案内所の前を通り過ぎようとした時に、地面に糞が落ちていた。ふと見上げると、燕のヒナが４羽、小さな口を精一杯開けて親ツバメが餌を運んでくるのを待っている姿が目に入った。なんとかわいいのだろう。一生懸命に親が餌を採ってきて、生まれたばかりのヒナに与え、子育てに勤しむ姿は、人間社会の子育てにも通ずるものがある。
しばらく見ていると、親ツバメは、４羽の左から順番に１羽ずつ公平に餌を与えているのが見て取れた。ほほえましい光景だ。日本で繁殖し、寒くなるころ、また越冬地である台湾、フィリピン、ボルネオ島、マレー半島、ジャワ島などへ向かうのだろう。

返信削除Thank you for your comment for my blog "Swallow's Nest". I succeeded to get these shots by chance in front of the tourist bureau near to JR Nara Station. Mama swallow gives foods every child from the left to the right one by one, who is very tender-hearted.
