☆　奈良・若草山にかかる虹　　　－　　Rainbow across Mt. Wakakusayama in Nara

2014年11月5日（水）　奈良若草山にかかる虹
今日の午後３時すぎに若草山の上に今までに見たこともない綺麗な虹が出ていました。

早速、自宅屋上から、デジカメで写真を撮りました。ほんの５分間の美しいショーでした。その後、何事も無かったように虹は消えました。
虹は吉兆の兆しと言います。

Fortunately I could see a beautiful rainbow around 3 p.m. today that I’ve never seen before on the Mt. Wakakusayama.

Immediately, I took a picture of the rainbow from the rooftop of my house with a digital camera. It was a beautiful show of just 5 minutes. Then, rainbow has disappeared as nothing happened.

Rainbow is called a sign of auspiciousness.

☆　初秋の奈良公園散策　　　Stroll in Nara Park in early autumn

初秋の奈良公園散策
公園内の大部分は芝生に覆われ、約1200頭に上る鹿が徘遊し、奈良公園や周辺に生息する国の天然記念物に指定されている野生動物です。
2時間半の散歩は、本当に楽しかったです。

Stroll in Nara Park in early autumn
The most ground in the park is covered with lawn, and up to about 1200 deer are prowling. The deer live in and around Nara Park and is a wild animal that has been designated as a national natural monument. Stroll over 2 hours and half was so happy.

☆　奈良・藤原宮跡　コスモスの花　　Cosmos Flowers in Fujiwarakyo trace in Nara

奈良・藤原宮跡のコスモスの花を見たくて、午後から車を走らせました。

藤原宮跡は西暦694年から平城京に移る710年まで日本の首都であった藤原京の中枢を成す宮殿の遺跡です。

天香久山 (あまのかぐやま１５２ｍ）、畝傍山 (うねびやま１９９ｍ）、耳成山(みみなしやま)（１３９ｍ）の大和三山に囲まれてコスモスの花がよく似合います。コスモスがメキシコ原産とは驚きました。

Being carried away by a sudden impulse, I wanted to take a look at cosmos flowers at the Fujiwarakyo trace in Nara and went there by car in the afternoon. Fujiwarakyo trace is the ruins of the palace, which was the capital of Japan from AD694 to AD710 and formed the central of Fujiwarakyo.

It is surrounded by three mountains of Yamato (Mt.Miminashi 139m, Mt.Kagu 152m, Mt. Unebiyama 199m).
Cosmos flowers really suit well in this calm scenery.　But, I was surprised at knowing that cosmos flowers are Mexico origin.

☆　奈良・采女祭　　　　Uneme-matsuri Festival in Nara, Japan

生まれて初めて見る采女祭。中秋の名月を鑑賞しながら「采女祭」のイベントの楽しさを満喫しました。

采女祭の由来は、入水した采女の霊を慰めるために催されるものですが、采女の伝説は、謡曲｢采女｣に次のように伝えられています。

Uneme Festival, is what is held to comfort the spirits of Uneme was drowned in the pond, but the legend of Uneme has reportedly in Noh "Uneme" as follows.

昔、猿沢池の辺で、一人の女性が諸国遊歴の僧に読経を願い出ます。

Once upon a time, in the sides of the Sarusawa pond, one woman asked a monk for his permission to sutra-chanting.

僧が理由を尋ねますと、｢昔、君寵の衰えたと思った采女がこの池に身を投げました。私はその幽霊です｣と言って池の底に入って行きました。

The monk asked the reason to her. Then she replied ” in the past, as a woman thought that favor received from the lord declined, she threw herself into this pond.
” I am the one who did it. Uneme replied “ I am a ghost of her”, then she went into the bottom of the pond.

　僧が手厚く弔うと、その采女がもう一度現れて、｢おかげで成仏することができました｣と喜びを述べ、舞を舞って、国土の安穏を祝った後で、また池に入っていきました。

When the monk mourned generous for her, she appeared again and expressed her thanks to him for that she could be the Buddah at last.
After she danced for celebrating the tranquility of the country, she went into the pond again.

☆　ノウゼンカズラ　（愛染かつら）　　Chinese Trumpet Creeper

自宅前庭のノウゼンカズラの花が、今年は6月下旬ごろから先始め、今日現在もなお、きれいな花を咲かせています。昨年は、ほんの少ししか花が咲かなかったのに、今年は百以上の花を咲かせてくれました。大変うれしいことです。

The flowers of Chinese Trumpet Creeper at front yard of my residence started earlier from around late June. Even today, the flowers keepblooming beautifully.

Last year, flowers bloomed very little, but this year, I fortunately could see hundred times more than last year. I am so happy.
